The Lord really touched me as I read Psalm 37 so I think we will stay here a little while. Sometimes I look up and say why Lord? I’m trying so hard but I feel like I’m spinning in place. It seems evil chases me down. But God. He reminded me I am His and many of the battles I have endured are so that I can minister to others and say I’ve been there and mean it. However, not once has He left me alone while fighting through these battles. I continue to pursue His goodness and walk how He wants me to walk.
Press in daughter, I am bringing you through. Verse 4 is crucial. God says to delight ourselves in Him and He shall give you the desires of your heart. The key to this is having a heart for God, having a heart that mirrors His desires for us. When we are in alignment with God, His desires become our desires. You see, we want what He wants for us.
