Ahhhh, I love today’s passage. I have fallen so many times throughout my Christian walk. God has never left me there. I might have chosen to stay there for a while, but He never left me. The last time He pulled me up and held me close as he said, this time is different daughter. You have work to do. I followed closely after that. If I tried to wander off path, the Holy Spirit gently nudged me back on track. Today, the Lord orders my steps. The joy of the Lord is my strength and I am delighted (and honored) to walk the path He has chosen for me.
Perhaps you have fallen, maybe you have wandered a little off track. Like the prodigal son, He is calling you back to Him. You can’t out run Him, you can’t hide from Him. Tomorrow is not promised so it’s crucial you grab onto His hand. the very hand holding you up, now. Repent and submit to the will He has for you. Before you know, you will be so glad you did.
