Wow, this one hit me hard today. There were several times when I felt pressure and I was not speaking wisdom. Forgive me Poppa. Help me to do and be better. Holy Spirit hold me tight so I do not slip. Thank you for today’s passage that reminds me of who I am and who I’m not. Keep that at the forefront of my mind at all times.
How about you? Can you recall times that you lost sight of who you are in Christ, even for just a second? Recognizing it is the beginning of changing it. You repent first and then you pray up and read up for the next time you’re pushed and you will be. You see, the devil is not original and he will try the same things over and over. He might alter them a bit but if you examine them closely, they are the same.
The devil is a liar. Call Him out and be equipped with the fiery darts of Scripture to force him to retreat. You are a child of the most high God. Glean from His wisdom and be prepared for the attacks. Jesus was attacked and we too will be, but how amazing it is that He sets the examples to follow for us.
