Renewing my mind has been heavy in my spirit lately. The devil is prowling, plotting, ready to attack the unaware and even aware Christian. The battle starts in your mind and pours out into every other area of your life. He will start to prod with things that are “okay.” I mean they are “legal” and everyone else is doing them. What’s the harm? Or he will attack your health and tell you there is no way you can be made whole. He may also tell you, you are too old or even too young to do what God has called you to do.
Friends, the devil is a liar and he fears what God has placed inside of you to do for His Kingdom. Today’s passage tells us not to be conformed to this world. We are called to be set apart not to walk hand in hand with the things God’s word has already said is sin regardless of laws man has declared. You are healed by the very stripes of Jesus, claim that healing in Jesus’ name. Look at the age of some of the well known people in God’s word. God replaces the time the canker worm and locust stole. You can never be too old or two young to do what God has called you to do.
We must renew our minds daily! It prepares us for the attacks of the enemy. We must put on our armor daily. We must be prayed up, read up, and always on guard. The enemy is sure to attack so it’s important to keep those entry points closed. Jesus’ is coming back soon. The devil doesn’t want you out there winning souls for Jesus.
