This world is not my home. That is what runs through my mind as I read today’s passage. I actually had another verse in mind for today, but God had other plans and His ways are higher than my own. I am so thankful that God is not ashamed to be called my God. When I look at all of the mistakes I’ve made in my life, the times I wandered away from Him and yet He loves me still. I’ve been thinking a lot on that heavenly place that will be my home.
Friends, we are living in the end days… the end of the end days if you are following the Bible and prophecies that have been fulfilled. The Lord has laid on my heart those who are certain they are on their way to heaven. We know from God’s Word that the path to hell is wide and that to heaven is narrow. We also know from Matthew 7:22-23, “22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” Can you imagine the horror that their mind must go through as they realize they will spend eternity in hell?!
My God, help us. Help us to truly see the light and to hear Your voice. The devil has deceived so many. Remove blinders, open eyes. As I am writing today’s blog I heard God say, it’s a heart condition. Many things are not done for My Kingdom from a heart that truly glorifies Me. They are done out of the flesh. They are done for their own glory and their own need to please other people more than Myself. They give way to itchy ears and pockets full of money.
I was reminded of Matthew 21:12-13 where Jesus overthrew the tables and in verse 13 says, “It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.” His sanctuary is no longer the sacred place of worship and prayer that it should be. A lot of sermons are motivational speeches with a few Scriptures thrown in. Hell is real and eternity forever. We need to be crying out for the lost. We need to be preaching the reality of hell.
I watched a man yesterday who had told the devil he could not wait to spend eternity with him. My spirit grieved. You may say. Prophetess, that is a little extreme. Is it? That was a true story and on the opposite end of the spectrum we have people believing once saved always saved. That is one of the devil’s biggest lies that will cost millions their souls. We are not perfect this is true, but you can’t get saved and return to your life of sin and think you will be okay. When we are saved, the Word of God takes root. The Holy Spirit begins to clean us up from the inside out. If that word doesn’t take root and you remain in that sin and continue moving in that sin, your soul is endanger of hell’s eternal flames. I’m not telling you this to scare you. I’m telling you so that you can repent and turn from your wicked ways. Jesus help us. Open eyes. Help our heart posture to be towards you. More of You and less of me. Prepare hearts that truly cry You increase while I decrease. God, I ask for mercy and grace for those deceived. Mercy and grace in Jesus’ name. Amen. 🦅 ~ Prophetess Michelle, #f8ithgal
