Nourishment for Your Spirit and Soul: July 9, 2025

Today’s passage hits my spirit in several ways. We are likened to a tree planted by the rivers of water. We have a continuous supply of living water that never runs dry. Next, this water produces fruit. If it is fruit from living water, it will be good fruit. Jesus’ fruit, people will know us by our fruit. This should cause us to pause and take a look at the fruit we are producing. Examine it closely. Is it good fruit, fruit of the Spirit? Is it bad fruit, any fruit that is rotten from the enemy, bitter from the world? Finally, his leaf shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. When we are aligned with God and walking after the things of the Spirit, our leaves won’t wither and everything we set our hands to will prosper.
