Today’s passage gives a serious warning. The Biblical definition of woe is, “a strong expression of grief, sorrow, or lamentation, often used to announce impending judgment, calamity, or misfortune.” This warning is addressed to rebellious children. The seek counsel, but not with God. They have a covering, but it is not the covering of the Spirit of God. It goes on to say that they add sin to sin. God help us.
Seek ye first the Kingdom of God (Matthew 6:33). When we seek God, He will guide our steps. He will move the people He wants into our circle. He will provide a covering that is from Him. Not everyone who calls themselves a child of God is so. Others have a belief in God but their roots hit rock and do not flourish in Him.
Poppa, move the people you see we need into our paths. Remove anyone that causes distractions or pulls us from you. Remove anyone that does not see your anointing on and plans for our lives. Place Kingdom destiny children of God in our paths. In Jesus’ precious name. Amen. 🦅 ~ Prophetess Michelle, #f8ithgal #Joy
“Woe to the rebellious children, saith the Lord, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin:” ~ Isaiah 30:1
