I have really been struggling the last few days. I was praying and thinking on this when God started to remind me of things, most importantly, that He is still in control. People tend to think you will reach a place in the Lord where you can’t be touched. I hear sermons on it by motivational preachers a lot these days. God began to remind me of Job.
If you have read the story, you know Job was definitely hit hard by the enemy and it was done with God’s permission. He lost His children, his health. In Job 2:9 even his own wife tells him to curse God and die. But God. He gave Job twice what he had lost and he prayed for the very “friends” that were adding to his pain. Who you have in your circle matters!
Job paid a great price before restoration took place. We can be touched and even with God’s permission at times, but He will never put more on us than we can bear and is by our side through it all. It is also important to note, the higher level of your calling comes with higher ranked demons with the assignment of bringing you down, stopping your destiny. But God! He has called you forth for this time. No demon can stop that destiny as long as you stay attached to the vine of Christ. It is our responsibility to be prayed up, read up, and wearing the armor of God daily. Yes, the attacks of the enemy will come, but God will provide us fiery arrows to shoot back.
