Today’s passage runs deep. Diligence is persistent, careful, and earnest towards accomplishing a task or fulfilling a purpose, often with serving God or others. We are instructed to keep our heart with all diligence. Why? Out of it are the issues of life.
What is in your heart? Are you carrying bitterness towards others because of things they have done? You are required to forgive and let it go. You do not have to hang out every day but you do have to forgive as Jesus forgave us. Are you harboring guilt and shame in your heart? Jesus came to set the captives free. Don’t be a slave to your past. Repent and let it go. Is your heart carrying pain from trauma? Allow the Holy Spirit to minister to you as the blood of Jesus heals your brokenness.
