The devil is a raging force. He comes to kill, steal, and destroy. He is after your peace. I was just reflecting on this today. We are to submit ourselves to God. Today’s passage says to resist the devil and he will flee.
I began to think on ways we let the devil in that seem innocent. The TV. What we allow our eye gates to see is important. Things like horror movies allow the enemy to enter. Your ear gates are just as important. It is important to shut gossip down from the start. I’m sorry, but I don’t want to hear that. Tell them, shut them down. There is so much division in the body of Christ caused my gossip. I see people giving prophecy out of one side of their mouth and laughing about it behind the very back God was trying to use them to deliver. Let’s talk about music, including “Christian music”. This won’t be a popular one, but if it tickles your flesh, it is not of God. Spend some time with God and ask Him to show you the places the devil is gaining access.
