I have been exhausted. So much so that I had not prepared a Scripture for today and God had been silent. I wasn’t doing anything special when God highlighted Romans 8:28 to me. I think it was one of the first Scriptures I had memorized as a child way back when we lived in Texas and attended Rebecca Christian Academy.
So many wounds have been opened lately. Too much sickness and a constant struggle in almost everything I do. Why Poppa? I laid in silence watching the ceiling fan go round and round. There are things we ourselves must walk personally before we can step into our calling and truly minister to those that are walking that same or a similar path.
But daughter, have I not worked everything along the way out in your favor, for your good? My heart smiled, yes You have Poppa. We are going to go through things in this life that are necessary for the call God has on our lives and we all have a call. They are stepping stones to the people God has called us to reach. We may find parts of the journey hard, but we will never walk it alone. Today’s passage is a promise. We KNOW that ALL things work together for GOOD to THEM that LOVE GOD, to THEM who are THE called according to HIS purpose.
