I listened to a great sermon tonight on SBN from Family Worship Center. The whole service made me homesick for that church. I went through a lot in Baton Rouge so I don’t miss the mess, but I miss the church that was uplifting through it. From the music to the message from Pastor Dale my heart was moved tonight as I was fed on a word I needed. One of the verses he preached on I used for today’s passage.
Christ was crucified so that we could have eternal life with Him. Many believe once you are saved that’s it. No deliverance is needed, some don’t even believe a lifestyle change has to take place. I needed change! The Lord still shows me areas where I need deliverance and some deliverance is an ongoing process. I really began to meditate on today’s passage.
I am crucified with Christ. Christ lives in me. There are somethings in my flesh that must be crucified. That anger or irritation that is stirred up when I’m stressed, it’s got to go. Anything not of God has to be crucified daily. I want to be a pure vessel standing before my King. It’s okay to be marred with scars. Jesus bore scars for us. Purge me from those things not of You Lord. Remove people that have no place in my life. Crucify my flesh Poppa. Remove anything that is not of you. Remove attitudes, thoughts, anything that is not aligned with You and Your will from my life. Holiness is still right. Mold me into the daughter You want me to be. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
How about you? Does today’s passage stir something in your heart? Now is a perfect time to take it to the cross. Don’t let another day go by harboring things that need crucified, things that must go. He’s calling, all you have to do is lay it at His feet. It is so hard to let somethings go, I get it. But we are in this world, not of it. There are many things we have to let go, but being a clean vessel that houses our Savior is worth it. 🦅 ~ Prophetess Michelle, #f8ithgal #Joy
“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” ~ Galatians 2:20
