Seek Him. As I read today’s passage the words “seek Me” leaped in my spirit and the words “find Me” jumped to life from the pages. I don’t know about you but I have some needs in my life that only God can meet. The devil hit me last night with the spirit of discouragement and I started thinking I’m never going to bounce back from the financial damage caused by my marriage. The devil is a liar. Is my God not able?!
Today’s passage has four key points: call, pray, seek, and search with all our heart. It starts by telling us when we call upon God, when we pray to Him, He WILL harken to us. Harken is to listen. He is El Shama, God Who Hears. We are then told to seek Him. Seek is to attempt find. We are to actively seek Him. When we seek God we are told we will find Him! We are not to search half heartedly but to do it with ALL our heart.
Are you calling out to God in prayer? Are you praying without ceasing? Are you seeking Him through the things being thrown at you? Finally, are you searching for Him with all your heart?
