Worry often tries to overwhelm me. God tells us throughout His Word not to worry. In today’s passage, Jesus tells His disciples not worry about what they will eat, for their body, or even what they will wear. Why? Our Father knows we have need of these things and it is Him that will provide them. He may use the income through the job He has given us. He may use other brothers and sisters in Christ. He may even use complete strangers. One thing is for sure, it is Him that will provide.
