We often face difficult situations in life that produce hard questions. We wonder why good people die much too young or why children suffer things such as cancer. We may have lost a job we thought God had put us in, why so many suffer depression and why murder seems to be the answer to the problems of so many. Why are their homeless and so many families who seem to be going without food. The list is endless.
We live in this world, but we are not of it. Satan, for a season, has control over this world. He’s losing that control and he’s big mad. He wants to create pain and chaos during his reign. He wants to destroy lives, harden hearts, and take as many people to hell as he can. He is a liar.
As believers, we need to draw close to God. We need to lean into Him for His understanding. His ways are higher than ours, but if we seek Him diligently He will reveal His plans to us, His wisdom, and strategic plans for us and solutions to those things we face. Lean into God child of God.
