Nourishment for Your Spirit and Soul: September 20, 2025

I was laying in bed this evening when I suddenly realized I had not posted today’s Nourishment blog. I quickly began praying for a Scripture. It didn’t take long before the Lord laid one on my heart. I read it and then found myself thinking back as I meditated on it. I am sure almost all of us have felt the sting of betrayal as someone we trusted turned out to be a Judas in our midst. It hurts. That pain is magnified when it’s a spouse or best friend. It is also crushing when it’s a group saying you’ve found “your people.”

I began to think on some of those betrayals over the last couple of years. God was separating the wheat from the tares. My circle became a lot smaller, but my trust in God even stronger. He would never let me down. He was making sure my circle was filled with the people He wanted me in it. Praying friends, encouraging friends, friends who believed in me and my calling. I was walking around feeling hurt and ignored but God said no daughter, you are hidden. I had never thought of it like that. Perhaps you too have been hurt, you feel neglected or ignored. No my sweet friend, you are being hidden. You are being protected by God. Lean in and trust Him through the process. 🦅 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal, #Joy
