Nourishment for Your Spirit and Soul: September 28, 2025

I was praying for a Scripture for today and God brought me to Proverbs 4:23. I began to meditate on it and the importance of keeping our heart clean and pure. I began to think on all of the things we see and hear on a daily basis that can pollute it. Oh my goodness there are so many every place you look: TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, X, the TV, conversations you overhear in the grocery store, gym, while getting gas. The things advertised on TV were absolute no no’s back when I was taking Journalism class. The videos permitted on Facebook with sexual content are allowed while Christian videos and memes are being pulled down. Charlie Kirk’s assassination is just the beginning of God’s children being taken out. Yes, I went there.

We are living in an age where it’s okay to kill unborn babies. We make sin legal and tell society it’s okay. It’s not okay. Sin is sin and the Bible is very clear on what sin is. We cannot update the Word of God to fit man’s narrative. The Bible is our road map to life, it contains everything we need for any situation we are in. It teaches us how to live a holy life.

God gives us grace and mercy. The blood of Jesus forgives and allows us the privilege to be sons and daughters of our Abba Father. It does not allow us to sin over and over and over again. The path to hell is wide and that to heaven is narrow. Let that sink in. God’s word tells us exactly what kind of people will not enter into heaven. We will not be able to plead our case for repeated sins when we are standing before God on judgment day because He has already told us these things in His Word.

This is serious. Our life in eternity is a direct result of what we do now. Tomorrow is not promised. Jesus is coming back soon. Are you ready? What is the state of your heart? Are you keeping it with all diligence? Out of it are the issues of life. Now is a good time to pause for a heart check. If there is anything you need to repent of and turn away from, please do it. It matters more than words can express. Do it today, because tomorrow may never come. 🦅 ~ Prophetess Michelle, #f8ithgal, #Joy
