I’ve meditated long and hard on today’s passage so many times. As I began writing this morning I heard, “closet Christians.” WOW. Could you imagine having this burning light of Christ in you and it being hid from the world?
We are living in the end days. It’s time to be bold in our faith. People are plummeting to hell daily. People who thought they had more time and then their time ran out. We need to let other believers know they are not alone in their faith or fight for it. We need to be a light that guides the lost to Christ.
How bright is your light for Christ? Is it bring hid completely and people cannot tell you are a child of God? Is it flickering while you are on the fence of the world and God (you cannot serve two masters)? Is it dim, people know you are a child of God, but you are timid and try not shake things up? Finally is it bright, are you on fire for Christ. Are you a closet Christian? The Bible says God will spew out lukewarm Christians. Heart check. Examine your heart.
