Nourishment for Your Spirit and Soul: October 20, 2025

Too often we speak out in a moment of anger or from a place of hurt. Today’s passage reminds us that there is a time to keep silent and a time to speak. We need to lean into God before we speak (not after, asking Him to forgive the mess words said in upset can cause). We are to be a light in this dark world. Because of this, the way we handle hard situations should be handled differently than those of the world.

I am a work in progress. My heart feels so strongly that I need to be and do better with the emotions that pour from me. Daily, I ask for God to mature my emotions. How are you when it comes to a time to be silent and a time to speak? Do your emotions take a backseat to the Holy Spirit? We need to be taking these things to God in prayer. We need to lean into Him until He releases the words we speak. 🦅 , Prophetess Michelle. #f8ithgal, #Joy
