God has really been speaking to my heart about faith. The shield of faith was yesterday’s Armor of God that was on my live today’s passage was the Scripture of the day for an app I have, and then Apostle Faith’s live was on faith and love. I’m listening Poppa and gleaning so much from the things you are showing me.
Today’s passage says we are justified my faith. We are saved from our sins and washed pure before God. The Amplified version says we are acquitted of sin, declared blameless before God. Because of this acquittal, we have the peace of God. This peace comes through our Lord Jesus. He is the Prince of Peace. Through Him we are not only saved but we have a peace that the world cannot take from us, a peace that people cannot take from us, and a peace through the storms of life.
Today’s passage should strengthen your faith as you grow closer to God and walk in the freedom the blood of Jesus has given you. This is not a freedom to continue in sin but to repent and spread the gospel everywhere you go. The light of God should be shining so bright from us that people of the world can instantly see a difference in our countenance. We will have an unshakable faith that is rooted in Jesus Christ.
