Hands up if you have ever been a prodigal son or daughter, in either the physical or spiritual (perhaps both). Man, my hands are held high. I cannot tell you how many times my Heavenly Father watched over me while I had went back into the ways of the world. The last year I lived in Colorado, He brought me back home and told me I’d never walk away again. He had placed a calling on my life that I had not even realized fully. In a little mountain church, I was baptized with the Holy Ghost and my life was forever changed.
Some thought I had gone a little extreme in my Jesus talk. The more God poured His Spirit out over me the louder and more “radical” I became. My steps have not been perfect since then, but I have stayed connected to the Vine. I’ve made some really bad choices, but God has used them for His glory. He’s not looking for perfect, but our full surrender to Him. Let’s face it, there has only ever been and will only ever be one perfect man on this earth and that was Jesus Christ.
Have you strayed a little (or a lot) off track? You have not fallen too far to come back home. Do you know someone who is heading in the wrong direction or completely slid off the tracks? Give them the same grace God has given you. Be the person that prays them through and not the person who beats them down. It’s God’s job to convict and bring them to Him. It’s our job to be His light in the darkness and to keep them covered in continual prayer. Your prayers may be what is needed to pull them from the depths of hell. Give that some thought before using your words as daggers into the hearts of others. 🦅 ~ Prophetess Michelle, #f8ithgal, #Joy
