As our prophetic group prayed over me tonight, I kept hearing Abba Father. This is a very intimate and personal name for our Father. Someone once questioned me praying to Abba Father. Romans 8:15 creates a clear image of our Abba Father. First, it reminds us we have not been given the spirit of bondage again to fear. Bondage and fear are not of God. It tells us, we have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba Father. Glory hallelujah, we are encouraged to cry out to our Abba Father.
This name is so very deep. Every day I say (reminding myself), I curse the spirits of rejection and abandonment and I receive and embrace the Spirit of adoption. I heard Singer Tasha Cobbs Leonard say something similar in Maverick Cityβs In The Room. As I declared it daily, God added to it for my situation. To this day, I declare it daily. The devil can tell me Iβm alone, Iβm unwanted BUT He is a liar! And friend, you are not alone either! When you accept Jesus as your Savior, you gain access to our Father. You not only gain access, you are adopted into His family. You can cry out to Abba Father day or night. Glory hallelujah our Father invites us to call out to Him. He encourages to call Him that most intimate name, Abba Father because we are His! π¦ ~ Prophetess Michelle, #f8ithgal, #Joy
