We were meant to surround ourselves with other believers. Today’s passage reminds us that we are to comfort each other and to edify one another. Each one of us may have just the right word to encourage another. We may be knowledgeable in an area that can edify our brothers and sisters. We weren’t meant to sit alone, we were meant to lean on each other. If the people you are surrounding yourself doesn’t comfort and edify, they aren’t you people.
