Today’s passage is deep. Have you ever thought of yourself as an enemy of God? It was only through the blood of Jesus and the repentance of our sins that we are reconciled with God. Without that precious blood we were enemies of God.
Look around at the world. We can all see clear enemies of God, but the reality is if you are not saved by the blood of Jesus you are an enemy of God too. There is no riding the fence when it comes to heaven or hell. You are either all in, reconciled to God and sins atoned or you are all out, lost in sin. Those lost are an enemy of God. Thank You Jesus for Your atoning blood, the blood that sets free and breaks down curses. Thank You for Your grace and mercy that saves us. We are not only friends of God, but His sons and daughters, joint heirs to His Kingdom. How about you? Are you a friend of God or an enemy still in the world, still seeped in sin?
