Have you ever met someone that loves to gossip. They don’t consider it gossip but if you listen closely that’s what it is. How about those people that just look for conflict? They will pick apart everything in a situation dwelling on the bad while they complete ignore the good. Even if it’s a sliver of good, give God praise. He can take that tiny bit of good and multiply it. We are to depart from evil, not to take part in it in any way. We are to not only seek peace but to pursue it. That can seem hard in a world of chaos. But God! He is our peace in the storm. Do the things of the world still tickle your ears or all you actively pursuing peace?
