Anyone who knows me knows I have a soft heart that easily breaks. I feel everything and many things cut too deep. I used to ask God about it, crying it’s just too much. He responded daughter you feel so deeply, you see the way you do because you have My heart. Wow. Okay Poppa.
That heart still breaks too easy, even more so because now I see deeply into things. We live in a world with selfish people who have become self entitled. I recently had a glimpse into this and was both angry and sad at the pure selfishness of someone. I sat in my room and God said to me, I am the God that sees. I see every action, every offense, and it’s in My hands.
In today’s passage we meet El Roi, the God that sees. Have you met Him too? He sees everything we go through. He sees those He uses to bless us and those the enemy sends to cause harm. He sees those that try to use us and those that pray us through. I don’t know what you are going through, but I know the God who does. He sees your need, every injustice, every stab in the heart, every Judas in your life. He sees it all. Stop fretting over things out of your hands. Stop worrying about things out of your control. Trust El Roi. He is the God that sees. He sees anything done against you, to use you, to hurt you, He is the God who sees. Vengeance is mine says the Lord.
