Nourishment for Your Spirit and Soul: January 5, 2026

Today’s passage just stuck out to me from today’s Bible reading. As children of God, we are told be the salt of the earth. What happens when we lose our savour? It is good for nothing, but (not only to be) cast out, (but) to be trodden under foot of men. That gives us something to think about doesn’t it?

There are times I’ve felt as if I’ve been trodden over by people. I started to question the freshness of my salt? Can people “taste” who I am seasoned with. I then began to think on the authority God has given me. Am I walking in it and filled with fresh salt or has the trials and worries of this world caused me to lose the savour of our Father? This is #realtalk with complete transparency.

It is critical to have these heart checks with God. I want to be walking not only in my calling but under the grace of my God and hearing Him clearly; speaking as His mouthpiece when the Holy Spirit comes upon me. We are living in a time when it is imperative to be walking with God and allowing others to see Him in us. Tomorrow is not promised and hell is for real. It’s a battlefield between good and evil. The harvest is plenty. We are called to win souls for Christ and we must be cleansed by the blood of Jesus’ of anything that prevents us from doing just that. 🦅 ~ Prophetess Michelle, #f8ithgal

“Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.” ~ Matthew 5:13
