Today I got to thinking about God’s protection. I was thinking about all of the attacks He has stopped that we never even see. I began to recall my recent fall and what I’d seen in the mirror as I examined the huge bruises and where it had torn down my arm. That injury was traveling along my vein. It literally touched the veins in my wrist and stopped just short of a larger one. If any part of that injury had dug a little deeper, went a little further the results could have been very different. They could have been the difference between life and death. But God. He was my very present help in that time of trouble.
I just sat in awe of our God. There are times when I say God, I can’t take anymore when I should be saying thank You Poppa for the protection I don’t see. Thank You for those attacks Your hand stopped, for those things You intervened on my behalf. Glory hallelujah, thank You for those things I never see. Thank You for being my refuge and strength.
