From the Heart

I found my spirit grieved as I scrolled through Facebook yesterday evening. I was seeing excuses given for the murder of innocent children under the label of abortion. I started seeing hate filled post because too many people were mourning for one person and needed to mourn for someone they considered more worthy. Agendas. Personal agendas started to come to light, but they were evil. It was almost as if the devil was the puppeteer and pulling the strings on FB. I thought on this long and hard this evening. This isn’t the kind of blog a lot of people would like, but I couldn’t just sit in silence.

“6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. 7 Be not ye therefore partakers with them. 8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now [are ye] light in the Lord: walk as children of light: 9 (For the fruit of the Spirit [is] in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) 10 Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. 11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove [them].” Ephesians 5:6-10

When you abort an unborn baby, that is murder. God gives that baby life from the moment of conception. It is a living being, a human being. The defense “such and such number of children die each year of such and such” does in no ways excuse the murder of innocent lives. Yes we should be appalled that children die of malnutrition, but we should be just as appalled that someone would want to take their innocent lives. It’s okay to let them starve, but not kill them? God forbid. There is something so wrong with that thinking that I can’t even comprehend it.

Hate. Oh the hate I saw on my timeline. Don’t try to disguise it as you just think “such and such” deserved to be honored more. Are you lying to me or yourself? A loss of life is tragic period. If you feel compelled to post about it, how about just posting that. There’s no need to try to outshine someone. Neither side of the family needs to see that garbage that you try to paint in the color of sympathy. Respect ALL of the families left behind.

My brothers and sisters. Pray very hard about who you vote into office. Voting strictly on your party lines isn’t the way to go. Take it to prayer. Line it up with God’s Word. My timeline is full of bickering and offended brothers and sisters in Christ. What does God say? Does your political views line up with His Biblical Word? People are watching us. I am so far from perfect, but God has lifted me up and set me on the path He has chosen. I’ve learned (the hard way) to take EVERY SINGLE THING to Him in prayer. Just sharing from the heart tonight. I pray it touches you more than it offends you. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. 14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. 15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 5:13-16
