I was reading Titus 3:1-3 this evening and I began to think about how imperfect my life has been and how gracious my Father as been with me. And patient, oh how patient He’s been with this daughter of His. Yet He’s loved me still. I’m not sure what you’ve done, but I’ve got a pretty good idea that He loves you still too! I was reading through the comments under various Facebook post concerning recent political news and the bickering and backbiting was alarming. I have my clear views and I’m sure others have theirs, but at the end of the day do we really have to resort to name calling and insulting each other’s intelligence? “To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.” Those words just stood out as I read them from Titus 3:2 this evening. They caused me to be a little softer in my response toward others. I can plant seeds and allow the Lord to grow what He will. I don’t need to drown them in water nor need to over till the garden. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal
“1 Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work, 2 To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, [but] gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men. 3 For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, [and] hating one another.” Titus 3:1-3

Great title and verse. The gentle rain waters the seeds and plants just right. The driving rain washes seeds away and breaks the tender plants.
The fruit of the spirit is …gentleness…
