God’s favor came pouring over me today. It wasn’t a mere shower, but a down pouring of favor that could only come from a God moving mountains for His daughter. I had gotten myself in completely over my head with a personal loan with an interest rate that was so high in some states it’s illegal (some states have the company blacklisted). The Lord had actually woke my mom several nights ago and told her “usury” which is the illegal action or practice of lending money at unreasonably high rates of interest. This company is funneling their transactions through an Indian Reservation making them unaccountable because they are federally protected from being sued (according to their disclaimer on their email). I have already paid back over double the amount borrowed. I called for the payoff thinking I had it down to where I could pay it off and I was quoted an insane amount. I was in tears. I went ahead and updated my address and through a series of crazy events (God working without me realizing it) they canceled their automatic withdrawals from my bank account. They sent an email telling me I would need to make payments via a money order, this caused me to me late, causing late text and emails to be generated. I was so upset, crying all weekend. God kept saying why art thou cast down daughter, I am in control! I called this morning and ask to speak to a manager, she waived the rest of the fees and cut the remaining amount in half.
I’ve definitely learned my lesson through all this. Most would not want to share something so personal and stupid that they had gotten themselves into, but I wanted you to see how merciful and loving our God is. I struggled paying crazy amounts of money out of every check, I honestly couldn’t see the light at the end of it. But God! He lifted me out of my own mess and said it’s okay, Your Father has you. When that manager came on the line I thought she sounded so mean, but God gave me favor in her eyes. She said it was their mistake. Literally cut the balance I “owed” in half. Moved my next payment out to allow them time to receive it. Look at God. If you are His child, you have His favor over you. “Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness: thou hast enlarged me [when I was] in distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer.” Psalm 4:1 He heard me when I was in distress, favor just pouring down my friends. What He will do for me, He will do for you too. Believe it! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal
