The children of Israel took the city, but “Rahab the harlot” and all that were with her in house lived. Of all the homes the Lord could have led the messengers to, He led them to a harlot’s. She did what was right in her heart and saved not only her life but the life of her family. Then God took that nobody and made her a somebody placing her in the lineage of Christ. Tell me again why your past prevents you from being who God has called you to be? But God. 🙌🏻 That deserves a praise shout! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal
“16 And it came to pass at the seventh time, when the priests blew with the trumpets, Joshua said unto the people, Shout; for the LORD hath given you the city. 17 And the city shall be accursed, [even] it, and all that [are] therein, to the LORD: only Rahab the harlot shall live, she and all that [are] with her in the house, because she hid the messengers that we sent.” Joshua 6:16-17
