Names of God: El Roi

El Roi is The God Who Sees Me. Today was a really bad day for me, really bad. It was the kind of day where absolutely nothing went right, I stayed behind no matter what I did, and I just started to question everything. Help me Lord! I went to see my niece and she cried begging me not leave. I finally got home and settled in for this study. That brings me to this evenings name, El Roi The God Who Sees Me. Our Father knows us more intimately than anyone. In fact, He knows us better than we know ourselves. I looked up into the mirror as I wrote, stunned to see a noticeable weight loss in my face. An answer to prayer, I smiled. He sees every little detail about us, He catches every single tear, and He hears every prayer. He sees those bad days when we are struggling to get through. There is purpose in that struggle, there is something birthing from it. I felt that in my spirit as I wrote this. I haven’t forgotten you, I am the God that sees you. Today was a bad day. I’m sorry to anyone that I allowed it to spill out onto yours. Tomorrow will be better. Keep pressing my friends, He sees it all. Be gentle with yourself on those bad days and offer yourself the grace Jesus died to give you. I’m thankful for El Roi, The God Who Sees Me and loved me even on my bad days. Perhaps, He even loves me a little harder… we could all learn from that. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal
