Jehovah Gibbor Milchamah is The Lord Mighty in Battle. I looked at the calendar and sighed. It’s only Tuesday, really?! Poppa, I feel like the waters are overtaking me. There aren’t enough hours in the day, at least in a work day. I got off and began to read about the names of God. “Who is this King of glory…” I find an instant smile as I continued to read this familiar Scripture, “The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.” Psalm 24:8 I wasn’t in a physical battle, I was in a mental battle. This mental battle was causing physical symptoms as I felt my head pounding. Tonight’s name for God was giving me a renewing of my mind, a reminder that Jehovah Gibbor Milchamah is our Lord Mighty in Battle. It doesn’t matter the kind of battle, He fights for us. It can be a real physical battle, it can be an emotional or mental battle, it can be a custody battle. He fights for His children. My battle was one of my mind, pushing myself harder than time allowed and then being upset with myself over my performance. God was saying give it to me. How many know you can do far more through Him than you can on your own? *** smiles *** “Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.” 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal
