Jesus bore every grief, sorrow, and shame for us when He hung on the cross. I recently went through something and said, “I feel so stupid and completely worthless.” While I was sitting on my bed crying, God gave me a vision of Christ on the cross. Daughter, He did this for you. I can’t even imagine the pain and the shame as He hung there being mocked, completely innocent. He did that for me and for you!
“…He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.” That isn’t some fictional reading, that is what Jesus did for us! Thank You Jesus! Whatever the enemy is trying to oppress you in today we cancel it out in the name of Jesus. Mental torment we claim peace; physical affliction, we claim healing; financial issues, we claim freedom. The enemy tried to destroy me last week, but I’m a daughter to the King.
