I was sitting here thinking Poppa this was a day, I was overwhelmed and almost immediately before I could even finished my thought He said the waters will not overtake you. The Lord brings me to Isaiah 43:2, “ When thou passest through the waters, I [will be] with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.”
The devil likes for us to feel like we are at a place where we can’t handle things. It’s okay, we don’t have to handle it all. When the waters are rising and the currents are swift, we have a God that will navigate our way through them. I can’t tell you how many times I called on God today. Now I kind of chuckle, I bet that made the devil so mad. when those waters start to get deep, call on your Father. If He doesn’t cause them to recede, He’s about to teach you to swim against strong currents or allow you to float through them. Either way, He’s got you! They will not overflow you. The devil likes for you to think your drowning, but he is a liar. Hold Isaiah 43:2 close to your heart and pull it out when the waters rise.
