Nourishment for Your Soul and Mind: November 19, 2020

Now we have the Word falling onto stony ground. Verses 16-17 go on to tell us these people received the Word with gladness immediately after hearing it, but it has no root in themselves. Therefore it endures for a time, but when affliction or persecution arises for the Word’s sake they are offended. That Word never took root in their heart where it could grow and blossom. It was there in appearance only and easily taken way. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“And some fell on stony ground, where it had not much earth; and immediately it sprang up, because it had no depth of earth:” ~ Mark 4:5
