It was a little while into my walk with God before I understood these verses. Once the Holy Spirit opened my eyes, I got it. It was all about the blood! Cain’s offering was of the earth, Able’s offering was a blood offering. Jesus gave His blood on the cross and that made a final blood offering for all of us. He became a blood sacrifice for us.
