A broken heart was all I’d ever known
I was certain I was destined to walk this life alone
So many tears to God I’d cried
Too many times I’d wished He’d just let me die
Yet He forced me to hold on
And I just couldn’t understand His plan or what He was doing
I was broken beyond repair

I had built walls so high they could never be breached,
Iron chains around my heart to ensure it would never be reached.
But Gods had a plan
He had chosen a VERY special man
I was drawn to YOU in a way I can’t even explain
