This is absolutely one of my favorite Bible passages. My Father brings me back here so often. It’s not just Him bringing beauty from my ashes that touches me so much from these verses but that He calls me and uses me to encourage others through what I’ve been through. I’m the vessel He uses to pour forth His oil to bind wounds and release souls that the enemy was determined to keep bound. Glory hallelujah, everything I went through had a purpose. God uses my pain as a testimony as to what He can do! Every mistake I made, He is using for His glory. Only God can do that. You can’t wander too far from God’s grace, it’s all woven into your destiny. He had it all planned out for you and His Kingdom so if you’ve fallen, get back up! He has big plans for you, all you have to do is get back up and take His hand again. He’s waiting. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal
“1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD [is] upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to [them that are] bound; 2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; 3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.” ~ Isaiah 61:1-3
