“And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.” ~ James 3:18
One cannot sow in discord and expect peace. You must actively sow in peace to create an environment of peace and when you do, this verse promises you will reap the fruit of righteousness. What a promise! It’s important to note peace cannot abide in a toxic environment. Sometimes people are not willing to let go of that toxicity and all you can do is shake the dust from your feet and pray from a distance.
