Several times I felt the condemning tone of others over the last day or two. I sat with tears stinging my cheeks as I internalized their words, taking every single one to heart. I began to feel a whisper in my spirit, there is no condemnation in Christ. It grew louder and louder until I looked for the verse I knew all too well and read it aloud, “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” ~ Romans 8:1 I sat in quiet reflection. This condemnation was not coming from God. It was not constructive, it was destructive. It was not for my building, it to belittle. The spirit surrounding it was not Christ like. Shake it off daughter. There is no condemnation in me. I build up, I don’t tear down. But Poppa, why do people do those things? Then I immediately thought, does it even matter? A person must be pretty unhappy, I wonder if they even realize they come across as so condescending? Don’t allow the way others treat you cause you to in turn internalize how you view yourself. You are enough, you are doing great, you are worthy, you were chosen by God for a specific purpose that only you can do. Don’t allow anyone to take away your sparkle! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal
