Not being liked used to be something that bothered me more than anything. I tried so hard to please everyone, I probably still try too hard at times if I’m honest. But today’s verses are clear, not everyone is going to like us. I’ve met some people that seemed to dislike me before they ever knew me. Why Poppa? They recognized the Spirit within me! I’m okay with that. His light shines through me and it is going to clash with the world. I’ll keep shining anyways! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

Yikes! That was a very hard lesson for me to learn! I admit I used to be such a people pleaser. But God is teaching me that it is better to be who I am and that having fewer relationships of better quality is healthier for my soul. Amen.
