This is HUGE. Read that verse again and let it digest for just a minute. It says, “Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth…” I looked corrupt up in the Bible concordance and it is “rotten that is worthless (literally or morally).” What kind of communication is coming out of your mouth? Does it speak life? The verse goes on to tell us the words we speak should edify and minister grace to the hears. So many words spoken these days speak death, they speak destruction, they speak disrupt. Are your words speaking peace? Are they edifying? Do they build up or bring down? Do they condemn and belittle or do they promote wisdom and growth? There is so much in what you say and how you say it. You hold the power to build up or tear down in your words and tone. It’s important to pray and not allow the enemy to use you without you even realizing it. What you say and you say it matters. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal
