I sat this morning contemplating this verse as I read it. Jesus died on the cross for us freely, giving us the gift of eternal life. We can’t justify that. We didn’t deserve it. He did it out of pure love. Tears began to well up in my eyes as I thought of the times I’d slid back into my old ways. Eyes straight forward daughter. We have such a loving God, He truly forgives our transgressions when we take them to the cross. Eyes straight forward, I now build on the foundation of Christ. It is solid, but requires much. The attacks of the enemy are great, but our Father equips us for the battle. The Holy Spirit gives us wisdom and Jesus gives us so much undeserved grace along the way. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal
