Nourishment for Your Soul and Mind: December 16, 2021

I had a spiritual attack earlier in the week so great I felt like I was literally being choked. I began in my prayer journal, but felt my Poppa telling me to pray in the spirit. The Holy Spirit will pray for us in a language the enemy cannot understand. I had also text my precious sister with what was going on and she too confirmed to pray in the spirit and felt the Lord leading me to Romans 8. She told me to read it and decree over me the verse that resonated with me. The Lord had not given her one verse because He had several for me there, I truly feel that! That whole chapter whew, it was for that attack! The enemy will use anything to try to pull down God’s people. Sadly, he will even use His own children to tear each other down. My sister told me to read the passion translation and I love how it reads, “Who then would dare to accuse those whom God has chosen in love to be his? God himself is the judge who has issued his final verdict over them—“Not guilty!”^[a] I am called, I am God’s elect! Silly devil, take your hands off of me! Oh my brothers and sisters in Christ, there is no condemnation in Christ! (Verse 1). Again the Passion Translation, “So now the case is closed. There remains no accusing voice of condemnation against those who are joined in life-union with Jesus, the Anointed One.[a]” Keep that in mind when those condemning thoughts enter your mind and spirit.
