My heart was searching for today’s Nourishment passage when the Lord lead me to Matthew 11. So many are navigating troubled waters right now whether it is sickness, financial, or a combination of things. As I read, I felt the Lord saying tell them to lay it at my feet; cast their burdens upon me and I will give them rest. I reread verse 29 and something stood out to me that I had missed out of all of the times I had read it. He says, “Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.” What I had missed before was He says “learn of me.” Learn of Him, watch Him, do as He does and we will find rest for our weary souls. He went to the Mount and prayed, He trusted His Father when He was in human form on earth. Learn of Him. His yoke is easy and His burden is light. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal
