Nourishment for Your Soul and Mind: February 13, 2022

When I first looked outside this morning the skies looked dull and I didn’t think there was much to see, but at the urging of the Holy Spirit I walked on out into lightly drizzling snow where I was amazed to find varying shades of blues and whites and all kinds of wonders my Poppa had hidden for me there. Our spiritual eyes discern things our physical eyes would miss if we were not walking with the Holy Spirit. Praying for wisdom and discernment is so crucial in the days we are living. When I was younger we used to play a game where we would try to find shapes in the clouds, now my Father speaks to me through the skies He has me watching. That amazes me as I reflect back on my childhood. He now confirms the things He shows me and He guides me to Scriptures and shows other members of the body of Christ those things He shows me. It is almost beyond comprehension, but then it all ties into my purpose for His Kingdom and I’m humbled as tears begin to well in my eyes. Several years ago someone I was close to at the time tried to question my closeness to God and how He communicates with me. His lack of belief tried to cause doubt in my own. My friends, God wants a close and personal relationship with each and every one of us. He longs for two sided conversations, not prayers to Him that are left one sided. When you believe and you allow it, your heart will Him respond. How He communicates with you may be different than how He communicates with me, but I promise when you invite Him in He will communicate back. Don’t allow others doubt to taint your belief. Draw close to God and He will draw close to you. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal
