This verse really spoke to my heart this morning and I have been chewing on it all day. The enemy loves to attempt to immobilize us with fear. He uses anxiety to still our peace away. The devil is a liar. God has NOT given us a spirit of fear. Anytime that feeling rears it’s ugly head we can understand the source of which it is coming and we can send it back to where it came from. This verse tells us God gives us POWER and of love, and a SOUND mind. We have power and authority over the enemy, but too often we allow him to tread all over us. I felt that in my spirit as I typed it. My Lord, we give the enemy space. It’s time to take it back. Yesterday we talked about liberty through God, today He reminded me He has not given us a spirit of fear but a sound mind. He is pressing boldness into my spirit this afternoon. I had a meeting with a group of sisters earlier today that just strengthened me in the Lord, empowered me, and gave me confirmation to my destiny for God’s Kingdom. My friends, you are not reading this by mistake. God has purpose for you. Right now it seems like you are fighting and you can’t figure out why. God is rising up a special army for His Kingdom for this specific time. The enemy fears those called and he is coming against that army. Draw close to God, seek His face, and your place in this battle. God will equip each of us. The enemy will tremble as we take the positions.
