I stepped outside this morning and could hear doves cooing in directions all around me as two lifted off and flew into the tree not far from me. I looked up and smiled, thank You Poppa. He knows just how to comfort His daughter’s heart. There is a lot in this world that could trouble our hearts. If the truth be known, there is a lot that could trouble our hearts in our very own homes. But Jesus says, “Let not your heart be troubled…” It doesn’t matter what that situation is that is trying to trouble you because when you believe in God you have the assurance everything is under control. When Jesus died on the cross, He nailed every problem we could ever have to it. The devil doesn’t want you to remember that when he plaques your mind with worry and doubt. He is a liar, call him out for what he is and send him on his way. Do not entertain his manipulation for even one second longer. Turn up some praise music and usher in the Spirit of the Lord and watch the atmosphere shift. Let not your heart be troubled! I speak peace over you today, peace in the name of Jesus.
